Spring Technology is currently recruiting on behalf of one of our leading clients.
Based in Birmingham the client is looking for an EMEA Network Manager on a permanent basis.
The client is looking for an experienced leader & manager to provide technical leadership to the EMEA Network Support staff. They will also require someone to come in and implement KPI measures to ensure staff are performing at the correct level. The chosen candidate will stay current with all relevant technologies and products / services and ensure that all members of staff maintain a technical knowledge required to support / maintain the current network infrastructure as well as any future enhancements.

Essential Requirements
*Must have held a similar position managing Level 2/3 network support staff in supporting both network infrastructure and client services
*Able to demonstrate strong knowledge and hands on experience of Network architecture including: Routing, Switching, Security, VPNs and MPLS
*Have previous experience supporting multi vendor environments such as: Cisco, Juniper, Checkpoint, Palo Alto , F5 and / or A10
*Experience in building , supporting and maintaining multi vendor Network Infrastructure used to support a computing environment
*Have knowledge and experience of Network Monitoring systems such as: Solarwinds or Spectrum CA
*Experience with project related workstreams and able to deliver to tight timelines whilst under pressure
*Be proficient in presenting architectural concepts to both technical and non technical audiences
*Have experience in managing and prioritising multiple workstreams whilst maintaining SLA and delivery timelines
*Knowledge of ITILv3 methodologies including: Incident Management, Problem Management and Change Management
*Be able to communicate both verbally and in written form in a clear, concise, and professional manner to both internal and external clients
*Have an analytical approach to problem solving, able to work under pressure and have a "can do" attitude
*Have a positive outlook, be a team player, have a strong work ethic and able to manage / prioritise own workstreams
Added bonus if you have:
*Any current vendor qualifications
*Any experience with Cisco Nexus platforms
*Any previous working knowledge of carrier network services
*Previous experience with Load Balancers including: A10, F5 etc.
*Previous experience using ServiceNow or similar CRM systems
*Previous experience in a Financial or FINTEC environment
*ITILv3 qualifications or experience
*Knowledge of Unix / Wintel / Database infrastructure
