Java Developer - Manchester - up to £50,000

This client are a provider of software and services to end customer in the travel industry , enabling them to improve operational performance and deliver total management to its customers. They allow all employees the opportunity to learn new technologies during your working week and long term the prospect to grow in to a team leader is a very real goal if you'd like to take this career path.

You will be involvement in full Scrum lifecycle from Three Amigos and Refinement to Planning to Review and Retrospective and to facilitate these meetings in the absence of the Scrum Master. Take a lead, encourage and motivate the development team in achieving our development goals on time and budget. Write detailed design architecture and explaining this convincingly to the development team. Designing, coding and unit testing applications using Java and NodeJS technologies.

Experience required:

*2+ years development experience of Java applications in 24x7 production environments
*Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git / SVN
*Knowledge of build tools e.g. Gradle, Ant
*Writing well-structured Unit and Integration tests
