Role: Buyer (Rail Materials)
Location: Doncaster / London / Ashford
Contract: 6 Months +
Day Rate: £400 - £500 per day

The role:
Our leading client requires a Rail Materials Buyer, preferably with experience of procuring bogies, brakes and suspensions for immediate start in any of the following locations:
*Doncaster, Yorkshire.
*Greater London
*Ashford, Kent.

Essential experience:
*Able to work under pressure, to tight deadlines, with a collaborate approach
*Purchasing experience is essential
*Experience in a fast-paced and high-volume business (Rail, rolling stock, Rail Materials, brakes & bogie experience preferred)
*Excellent Vendor / Supplier Management
*Stakeholder Management (Internal and external)
*Hands-on' self-starter and must have excellent proven influencing and negotiating skills in managing product costs and income generation
*Demonstrate an aptitude for financial acumen in managing your budgets.
*Experience of working within large multifaceted organisations and liaising with their stakeholders
*Dealing with Vendor transfer and non performance if required
