Business analyst Regulatory Reporting Contract My client a leading Global firm is in urgent need of a talented and experienced Business analyst to join them on a contract basis for a rolling contract.

Regulatory Finance is responsible for ensuring efficient and proactive management of economic and regulatory capital. You will be responsible for working with the business partner teams on the delivery of the Capital and other Regulatory Reporting projects, primarily associated with COREP, Statistical, Finrep and Anacredit. The role is to analyse our regulatory reporting requirements and Isolate the specific data required (by product and attributes). You will Identify whether the data exists in our in-house data warehouse or if they need to be obtained. You will Liaise with upstream providers to obtain where necessary. You will Map data attributes to our in-house regulatory data warehouse and reporting software (Axiom) and Test the outputs and functionality, where applicable

Successful candidates will have Extensive experience of mandatory regulatory implementations within a Tier 1 Investment Bank. High level understanding of financial products and key asset classes such as Debt, Equity, Commodity etc. Strong control mentality. Fundamental accounting and reconciliation skills. Strong Data Analysis capabilities, with experience in writing BRDs, and reviewing Technical Specifications.Ability to analyse large volumes of data via strong MS Excel proficiency (pivots, data comparison etc.) with SQL desirable. It would be seen as a advantgae if you had experience

of Finance sub-ledger, general ledger and data warehouse reporting systems, Qualified Accountant - ACA, ACCA, or CIMA (or equivalent qualification) . Also an advantage if you have Good working knowledge of AXIOM platform (both from an end user perspective as well as from a solution development perspective). This role is remote for now however candidates must be in Ireland at the start of the role and for the duration.
