Graduate Prospects The challenge facing Graduate Prospects was that in a constricted market, traditional hiring methods were not attracting the desired quality and quantity of potential new recruits. Initially the organisation required a number of Java developers and subsequently a business systems analyst, an SQL database administrator (DBA) and a test analyst. Spring spent time with Graduate Prospects to really understand the organisation and the type of people it was looking for. This enabled us to sell the opportunities to prospective candidates, many of whom were not actively looking to change jobs. Efficient team building Thanks to their heighted insight, our consultants were able to generate interest from candidates, at initial contact, by clearly describing the business and the benefits on offer. Graduate Prospects was soon able to fill its vacancies. The initial appointments were made quickly and efficiently, with the full team in place within 18 months. Graduate Prospects continues to work with Spring. Both its existing and its new staff make good use of The Education Zone, an online training programme provided by Spring.
