Solution Architect based in Bristol to support various technical design requirements within a busy IT Infrastructure team.

You will be involved in system integration design activities, and providing general IT consultancy to the wider business, ensuring advice and resolution is based on best practice and in line with the wider strategy.

As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for delivering solution designs within defined projects where customer service and IT performance is paramount.

The role whilst predominately within a specific UK program of work, the successful candidate will join International IT team as a subject matter expert and from time to time engagements and opportunities will be presented on a global scale.

* Continuously looking for improvements to ensure services operated are aligned to industry best practice and enterprise best practices.
* Translating solution requirements into Networking solutions
* Working closely other Architecture resources to help build the solution design
* Identify and raise technical challenges and limitations within the networking estate
* Provide network consultancy to colleagues within the organisation
* Respresent Networks and Infrastructure at meetings
* Production of HLD and LLDs

Candidate should typically have 5 or more years of experience in an System Administration support role. Able to demonstrate excellent English oral and written communications skills. Able to communicate with and support teammates, customers, and suppliers in a professional manner. Able to demonstrate an aptitude for troubleshooting, superior knowledge of Virtualisation technologies, server computing systems including operating systems, networks, hardware, software packages and utilities, computer control languages and commands. Able to demonstrate proficiency in the use of standard applicable computing disciplines including change, configuration, problem, performance, and operational management. Able to demonstrate the ability to analyze, manage and maintain network topology, network devices, routers, firewall's, servers and server delivery systems, subsystems, and components.

Education and Experience:
Desire technical certification.
