Proposition Assurance Lead

My client, a market leading Financial Services Company, known for being a great place to work is looking for a passionate Proposition Assurance Lead to join their growing team at their head offices in South Birmingham.

The Proposition Assurance Lead will oversee a team of Analysts to design, document and deliver a planned assurance review in conjunction with customer operations and outsourced partners.

Working with a number of stakeholders, you'll provide assurance as to whether propositions are being operated in line with our regulatory requirements and good customer outcomes are being achieved.

Key Responsibilities:
*Leadership of a team of Proposition Assurance Analysts.
*Planning & scheduling the work of the Assurance Analysts as directed by the Proposition Assurance Manager in order to support specific deliverables.
*Building relationships with the relevant stakeholders and SMEs to support delivery of the review plans, and supporting day to day interactions between the teams.
*Agreeing the scheduling of individual test packs with the Proposition Assurance Manager and operations teams, allocating resource and managing the delivery of the individual product outputs.
*Maintaining regular dialogue between internal stakeholders, particularly around any emerging issues or areas of concern.
*Research into the company's delivery against the promises made to customers, considering where risks to customer outcomes might arise; designing & presenting appropriate test plans.
*Analysis of scope of review to provide commentary & challenge where appropriate.
*Review of Test Output to provide commentary & challenge where appropriate.
*Drafting assurance reports/findings for internal review and sign off.

Key Skills and Experience required:
*Experience of successfully leading small task focused teams to meet a range of deliverables.
*Knowledge of the life and pension industry with good product background.
*Involvement with / exposure to legislative and regulatory requirements and issues.
*Strong planning and organisational skills - able to work well under pressure, balancing multiple priorities and preparing a quality product under tight deadlines.
*A confident communicator and relationship builder, with strong analytical, report writing and presentation skills, who can demonstrate a strong grasp of the task in hand.
*Attention to detail and an ability to work in a methodical and structured manner.
*Competent in use of Microsoft Office packages (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
*Experience of working in a customer or product area is strongly desired.
