A specialist health authority that is currently going through its most ambitious programme of change is currently recruiting for a Senior System Test Analyst (FTC) to lead the systems testing required to ensure the system is reliable, robust and innovative

The role will involve (but not limited to)
*Applying expert systems test knowledge across the range of technical systems and processes.
*Support the development and implementation of technology solutions that will ensure the services offered continue to support professionals and improve in terms of quality, accuracy and customer experience.
*Work with a range of internal and external partners from a diverse range of stakeholders such as IT service providers, marketing, external data feed partners and other public services

The experience you will need:
*Experience in the role of system test / software engineer or equivalent
*Expert knowledge in 'black box' and 'white box' testing
*Good knowledge of test management, estimation, monitoring and control tools (for example: Jira, TestRail, Bugzilla or similar)
*SQL knowledge/experience (able to consturct/read basic SQL code)
*Web-applications testing
*Knowledge of intergrated data interfaces (data-in and data-out) including XML (sftp, file loading & file processing)
*Knowledge of software automation and automation tools advantageous
*Knowledge of software testing in an Agile/Lean software development environment and testing standards eg BS7925-1 & BS7925-2

Qualifications and Training:
*Degree level qualification in a related subject OR demonstrable equivalent experience
*Postgraduate diploma in software testing OR equivalent experience would be desirable
*Demonstrates commitment to own continued professional development (CPD)
*Advanced use of standard information technology packages, notably Microsoft Office packages (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
