IT Service Delivery Lead / IT Service Delivery Manager / ITIL / West Midlands

My well recognised and award-winning client, known for being a great place to work is looking for experienced and driven IT Service Delivery Lead join their IT team due to continued growth.

The IT Service Delivery Lead will manage and govern the delivery of IT Services including the management of third party supplier relationships, in line with contractual obligations, with a focus on driving operational excellence for improved business and customer outcomes. The successful candidate will be focussed on delivery of the Network and Telephony IT Service Providers.

There will be a blended approach to home / office working with the clients head office being based in the West Midlands. This role will be on a 12 month fixed term contract basis initially.

Key Responsibilities:

*Manage and govern the delivery of all service components provided by internal and external service providers to ensure that IT services meet agreed SLAs
*Facilitate and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective cross party collaboration to drive the successful delivery and continuous improvement of our IT services.
*Establish and lead appropriate governance meetings to identify opportunities for improvement, challenge existing practices and own and drive activities which enhance the effectiveness of IT Services in meeting our customers' needs.
*Deputise for Service Delivery Manager at IT Service Management meetings and forums with internal and external parties to ensure continuity of governance and services.
*Actively engage with the business to ensure our IT Services add value and meet their expectations and current and future needs in order to create a mechanism for safeguarding customer's expectations.
*Proactively assess the IT Services delivered to customers through business relationships, investigating, identifying, recording and managing the resolution of any issues.
*Lead, manage and develop direct reports so that they know what is expected, are able to maximise their contribution to business objectives and realise their potential.

Key Skills and Experience required:

*Previous experience in a similar IT Service Delivery Lead or Manager role
*Experience managing third party supplier relationships
*Significant demonstrable experience of driving performance in an IT Service environment
*Good Stakeholder Management skills with the ability to influence across levels
*Must have knowledge of ITIL and will ideally hold formal ITIL qualifications

The salary on offer for this position is £45,000 - £55,000 dependant on experience plus an excellent benefits package including a market leading bonus scheme and very good group pension scheme to name a few!
