My client a leading constabulary are looking to recruit an Infrastructure Engineer based in Gloucester to join their team. This role will be to implement required AD and Group Policy changes. You will also be expected to provision server and storage resource, be it virtual or physical and carry out routine checks of the ICT Infrastructure, using the management tools available, to ensure the constant functionality and availability of the environment.
Main Duties & Responsibilities -

Rapidly absorbs new information and applies it effectively. Maintains an awareness of developing technologies and their application and takes some responsibility for driving own development.
Key Skills-
*Experience working with Microsoft Azure.
*Experience Windows Server 2012R2 and above.
*Experience of Active Directory
*Knowledge of Group Policy
*Experience of SCCM
*Experience of Microsoft Exchange 2013 and Office 365,
*VMware ESXi, server and storage array technologies.
*Knowledge of following plans and instructions and in accordance with agreed standards
*Experience testing of hardware and software components, resolving malfunctions found and recording the results.
*The reporting of details of hardware and software installed so that configuration management records can be updated.
*Expertise to facilitate and execute the installation and maintenance of system software such as operating systems, data management products, office automation products and other utility software.
*Experience of operating and controlling of the IT infrastructure required to deliver and support IT services and products to meet the needs of a business
