HR Business Analyst




One of our West Midlands based clients is seeking a HR Business Analyst to join their team on an initial 12 month FTC (with the potential to extend beyond this). You will be responsible for assessing the organisations current HR system, and how this interfaces with the payroll system. You will be required to make an assessment of the system, as to whether it is fit for purpose, and meets the businesses requirements. This will entail assessing both the system, and the users.


The HR Business Analyst duties will include, but not limited to:
*Assessing the current HR system
*Assessing how the HR system integrates with the current Payroll system
*Assessing user function of the system and identify any training requirements
*Ensuring the HR system is stable, and resolving any operation issues with the supplier
*Provide recommendations on the HR system, whether they be user/system add-ons
*Management of internal stakeholders, ensuring they are kept up to date with the findings of the system assessment
*Creating user guidance documentation, and deliver training where appropriate
*If necessary provide HR system recommendations which would best suite the organisations needs
*Conduct user acceptance testing


As the HR Business Analyst you will be required to possess:
*Previous experience assessing HR systems, and their functionality within an organisation
*Strong HR systems knowledge
*Experience with HR system Selima/Access Group would be beneficial
*Working knowledge/exposure to Sage50
*Experience with SQL, utilising this to create and manipulate reports
*Previous experience interrogating large datasets would be advantageous
*Knowledge of business process improvement
*Previous experience with the use of integrated HR and payroll systems
