Head of Digital Marketing - Overview

A growing charity specialising in international food aid and education is looking for a Head of Digital Marketing to look after the strategic management and execution of their online marketing activities. The successful applicant will be looking after the branding, lead generation and social media of the charity to maximise its online presence.


Head of Digital Marketing - Key Responsibilities

*Devising strategies to drive online traffic to the website, driving ROI
*Tracking conversion rates and making improvements to the website
*Developing and managing digital marketing campaigns
*Utilising a range of techniques including paid search, SEO and PPC
*Overseeing the social media strategy for the company
*Managing and growing the charities email list
*Good understanding on setting up funnels and automated emails
*Improving the usability, design, content and conversion of the company website
*Managing all social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and any paid advertising associated
*Responsibility for planning and budgetary control of all digital marketing
*Review new technologies and keep the company at the forefront of developments in digital marketing
*Work with external suppliers, designers, web developers where needed


Head of Digital Marketing Skills/Knowledge/Expertise

*Experience managing PPC, SEO, FB ads and Affiliate programmes
*Strong understanding of current online marketing concepts, strategy and best practice
*Experience in ecommerce, SEO, PPC, Email marketing, and social media
*Previous experience in a similar digital marketing role
*Thrive in a fast-paced environment, excel at handling multiple concurrent projects
*Experience in growing and engaging an online audience via Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube and blogs
*Strong analytics: You must understand how to measure the effectiveness of online marketing efforts and provide reports to executive management


Partial remote work is a possibility for the right person so long as you can work autonomously and make it into the office at least once a week.
