The Role
Working in a busy development team, reporting to the Web Development Manager, you will be working closely with other team members to work on both internal systems as well as external customer facing websites. You will need to be client focused and understand the importance of ensuring products work effectively. You will be part of a team of like-minded, passionate and high performing developers who strive to innovate and create amazing sites that users will love.

Key Responsibilities:
*Ensure product and application perform above minimum standards
*Constantly refining the codebase
*Defects and time-to-fix defects are low
*Develop strong relationships with other departments
*Improve all systems
*Continuous development of the company websites

The candidate should be able to:
*Able to create website designs from concept to high fidelity mockups as well as the creation of additional graphical elements as required
*Able to hand code CSS, SASS, HTML and create standards compliant responsive web pages
*Able to use Javascript and/or JQuery, VueJS or React to create interactive web pages
*Creating visually appealing web pages and interfaces
*Creating, editing or modifying templates for CMS or web development framework
*Programming interaction with Javascript and/or library such as JQuery, VueJS or React
*Testing cross-browser, cross-platform, and/or cross-device compatibility for inconsistencies
*Testing for compliance to specified standards such as accessibility standards in the clients regions or domain

Skills & Experience Required:
Essential;
*Photoshop / Illustrator / Sketch
*HTML5
*CSS (SASS)
*Good working knowledge of Javascript/Ajax
*Working knowledge of Git version control
*Knowledge of build tools (Gulp/Grunt)
*Responsive Design
*Wireframing
*Mockups
