Working with arguably the biggest and most recognised company in the world, this a fantastic opportunity to help improve the experience of map users around the world. The successful candidate will perform field evaluation on digital Maps, be responsible for all testing and reporting, whilst benefiting from having full autonomy in the field.

The main field tests will be for drive routing where a sample of driving routes will be tested on a device to ensure they meet expectations and fulfil user requirements. The Evaluator will ride as a passenger and will be required to monitor the map information and guidance and identify and record any issues encountered. They will be required to test for 6 hours per day and will spend up to 2 hours each day compiling information and submitting reports. Other field tests will include pedestrian and transit routing so testers should be capable of walking up to 10 miles per day.

When the Field Maps Evaluator is not in the field they will be required to work in the office preparing test information, compiling reports and completing simulated in-office tests.

Full training will be provided.

*UK/London based
*Travel domestically and internationally up to 75% of the time (all travel, accommodation and subsistence costs are paid in addition to salary)
*Work within a team to verify mapping data utilising mobile technology
*Creative thinker and able to understand the product from the user's perspective
*Keen eye for detail
*Daily reporting of metrics
*Be polite and courteous
*Good written and spoken English
*Ability to explain technical detail in clear and concise reports
*Organised and self-sufficient, able to work remotely without direct supervision
*Have experience with iOS devices and be technologically savvy. Familiarity using mobile devices for driving navigation
*Working knowledge of maps and web based mapping products
*Experience working with data and spreadsheets
*Be at least 25 years old for insurance purposes and hold a current valid driver's license permitted to drive in the relevant countries (as applicable)
*Driving experience to include left hand drive vehicles
*Proficient using iOS and MacOS (desirable)
*Additional language: German
*Able to walk up to 10 miles per day
