My client, an industry leading aerospace company, are currently searching for a Facilities Management Specialist to join their team in Lossiemouth on a 6 month contract basis

Role: Facilities Management Specialist
Location: Lossiemouth
Duration: 6 Months

Responsibilities
*Manages facility operations, property planning and project administration, and facilities provisioning
*Operations management and compliance, business support services for multiple delegated business activities such as HR Services, Global Real Estate, Facilities & Asset Management, Finance & Business, Security & Fire Protection and Indirect Supply Chain
*Responsible for making sure that the facilities management contractor is fully mobilised
*Facilities Management contractor performance is tracked and managed against KPIs
*Escalates contractual issues to the procurement agent for resolution
*Develops and sustains mutually beneficial relationships and partnerships with business partners, stakeholders and peers
*Investigates and provides guidance for employees on complex issues or concerns
*Leads teams to design, develop and implement organizational policies, programs, processes and procedures for the purpose of safeguarding people, property, information and the environment while ensuring compliance with applicable government and company security and fire regulations (e.g., business preparedness, evacuation plan and crisis management, secure badge renewals)
*Monitors and partners with the procurement agent at the local site to manage multiple vendor activity (i.e. negotiations, vendor performance)

This role will involve:
oOversight and management of Facilities Management contractor activities including supplier performance management
oPartner with relevant internal organizations to evaluate facilities management contractor proposals to ensure compliance with standard operating procedures
oMonitoring and coordinating project implementation activities to ensure cost, schedule and regulatory requirements are met
oIdentifying and develops acceptable, efficient and affordable solution options for business needs
oEnsuring comprehensive closeout and retention of project and contract files to provide an audit trail for Records Retention, Internal Audit, HMRC, Property Accounting, Legal and Facilities
oImplementing business requests for facilities management projects such as rearrangements, moves and asset acquisition
