Digital Account Director - SEO/PPC/Search

Spring Technology are currently working in partnership with a market leading digital agency in Birmingham to recruit an experienced Digital Account Director with proven experience of creating viable client strategies for SEO and PPC to improve ROI.

The Role
As a Digital Account Director you will be responsible for understanding your client's business and the route to market. You will then provide strategic direction which meets business objectives

The Responsibilities
*Understand your client's business and the route to market
*Keep up to date with Google algorithms and how this affects your clients
*Keeping up to date on client's competitors and their online promotion strategies
*Share relevant sector information with your peers which will affect clients or be of interest to them
*Produce viable client strategies for SEO and PPC
*Revise existing or previous client strategies to improve ROI
*Securing further fees for additional work and spotting fee earning opportunities with clients
*Managing everything to do with your accounts and keeping the Head of Digital, Deputy Head of Digital and company directors up to date
*Taking a lead in new business - finding and securing leads and working with directors to convert leads into meetings
*Advising and supporting the team and ensuring the day-to-day activity is being driven forward
*Staying ahead of new developments to offer clients best advice and practice
*Empowering all members of the team to expand their knowledge and skill set
*Building strong client relationships and becoming a valuable extension of their team, as well as nurturing a strong professional relationship built on trust
*Networking to raise the profile of the business
*Ensuring all elements of the budget are being delivered and clients are getting added value
*Looking at ways to work smarter and improve systems for both clients and the Search team
*Copy checking a wide range of copy from blog posts, FAQs, technical, products, meta information & PPC ad copy (for a wide range of audiences), as well as proposals, and checking grammar and punctuation
*Running a proactive and reactive search office for clients
*Understanding all online traffic generation channels
*Delivering strategic three month and six month' review documents
*Invoicing & financial management
*Managing budgets and monthly invoices

The Requirements
*Understanding and experience of search (SEO/PPC) techniques and practices is essential
*Understanding and experience of online marketing.
*Experience using and promoting Content Management Systems and all other key digital marketing technologies
*Understanding and utilisation of analytics and web reporting will be essential to the role
*Understanding of web building project processes from planning through to release
*Exemplary communication skills, both verbal and written
*All candidates should be able to demonstrate results and experience of previous successes.
*Must be able to identify trends within the digital marketing industry
*Experience growing revenues within a digital or integrated agency
