Role: Network Programmer
Location: Birmingham
Salary: Dependant on experience

Do you want to work for a Triple A games company based in the heart of Birmingham? My client is looking for a Network Programmer to ensure they remain at the top of their tree when it comes to seamless delivery of their games for millions of players worldwide.

The role requires someone who will thrive on the continuously challenging nature of the position, being responsible for managing the complex interdependency of the technology that keeps the games harmonious. This role will enable a global multiplayer network of players to enjoy their games, and will require a true video game specialist.

You should be able to:
*Programme multiplayer game and server features
*Take responsibility for large game features or complete platforms
*Collaborate with designers and programmers to implement key game features from inception to completion.
*Estimate and report features to the team lead

You will need experience of:
*C++ positioned within a similar role
*Client to server and peer to peer networks in relation to games
*Network libraries from at least one of the current games console platforms.
*Version control software in games
*Writing clear and maintainable code relating to games networks
*Implementing multi-platform game client networking solutions on current console & PC platforms

Desirable skills:
*C# and web server programming
