Our client, an internationally recognised aerospace company, are currently searching for a 3D Multimedia Developer to join their team in Bristol on a 12 Month contract basis.

Duration: 12 Months

The Training Services, Training Development Team are looking to hire a 3D Multimedia Developer to join them in providing specialist courseware design and development services in support of their Defence portfolio.

Responsibilities
Reporting to the Training Design and Development Manager our 3D Multimedia Developers are responsible for:
*Conducting analysis to evaluate customer technical training multimedia needs to determine appropriate training content, objectives and media design methodologies.
*Designing, developing and evaluating engaging custom technical multimedia training materials collaborating closely with instructional designers and technical Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure highly technical and complex content is targeted to the needs of the audience.
*Providing multimedia training services that meet the highest technical and quality standards, regulatory requirements and company policies and processes embracing first time quality as a way of life.
*Identifying and correcting conditions and behaviours that affect employee, public and customer safety; upholding safety standards; demonstrating proactive safety culture leadership.
*Gathering data to support with proposals and assisting with the preparation and presentation of reports regarding the development, implementation and evaluation of training projects and curricula.
*Coaching, mentoring and developing others and providing instruction and guidance in the performance of multimedia design principles, methodologies and tasks.
*Discovering new opportunities and solutions for problems by looking beyond current practices and using innovative thinking to determine new multimedia strategies, methods, technologies and tools related to instructional systems design, development and delivery for internal and external customers.

It is likely the successful candidate will have experience with:
*Autodesk 3Ds Max including rigging of complex mechanical systems.
*Unreal Engine including knowledge of the blueprint system for 3D model interactions and animations.
*Physically Based Rendering (PBR) materials inside 3ds Max and Unreal Engine.
*UV mapping and unwrapping.
*Adobe Substance Suite.
*Chaos Group V-ray and PhoenixFD.
*Adobe After Effects and Photoshop.
