1st Line Support Engineer
Spring Technology are currently working in partnership with a leading, nationwide company to recruit a 1st line support analyst into their existing Manchester team.

£20k - £22k
Please note there will be shift work involved with this role
Shift Pattern - 4 days, 4 off, 4 nights, 4 off (repeated) on a 24x7 basis

The role
As a 1st line support engineer you will be the single point of contact for customers completing system related incidents, service requests and solving as many incidents at first contact as possible
Key Responsibilities
*Provide first line support for incidents and service requests relating to the companies systems
*Manage the lifecycle of incidents and service requests, record accurately and ensure prioritisation
*Complete first time fix where possible and update knowledge base consistently
*Maintain user accounts such as rights, permissions and system groups
*Effectively escalate incidents if it cannot be resolved at first instance
You will need
*Strong experience within a first line support engineer capacity
*Technical experience that covers - Active Directory, Windows 7, Microsoft Products
*Knowledge of Citrix would be advantageous
*Knowledge of change and problem management
*Excellent ability to prioritise and problem solve
