Fairness and equality of opportunity are core principles within GT and throughout the group. Our colleagues are encouraged to reach their full potential regardless of their gender, marital status, parental status, sexual orientation, age, disability, race, colour, nationality, ethnic origin, religion, or political affiliation. These are our key commitments:

  • We will provide a guaranteed job interview for all applicants who meet the minimum criteria
  • We will consult disabled colleagues regularly, and at least once a year
  • We will retain colleagues if they become disabled and will make all reasonable adjustments
  • We will strive to improve disability awareness and knowledge
  • We will monitor progress and plan ahead, with annual reviews

Further to this, we also support the Code of Practice on Age Diversity in Employment. This is a voluntary set of Good Practice standards established to help employers recognise the business benefits of an age-diverse workforce – encouraging employers to make decisions that do not discriminate against someone because of how old they are.
